Malaysian Drones need approval to take to the air
Malaysian drones, flown by hobbyist or businesses, are not allowed to fly without approval by the Civil Aviation Authority. In some countries hobbyist can fly their UAVs without approval, not in Malaysia however. Malaysian drones are not legal to fly, at least for now, without approval. The government is working to determine the best path forward and remain concerned about potential safety concerns.
