The government of Italy has done a nice job providing Italian drone regulations in both Italian and English languages.

Here is a summary of key points:

  •  UAVs must be flown during daylight hours.
  • UAVs must be flowing within line of sight.
  • All accidents or serious incidents must be reported.
  • Research flight must be conducted in areas without crowds and with special permission from ENAC.

We will keep this updated as Italian drone regulations evolve over time.
