The Drone Girl Ireland tours Trim Castle – County Meath, Ireland

Another great video outside Trim Castle, a Norman castle – south bank of the River Boyne – Trim, County Meath, Ireland.

The Drone Girl Ireland creates amazing aerial video with her Yuneec Q500 drone.  In this video tour she shows us Trim Castle, a film made famous to many through the Mel Gibson movie, Braveheart.

Wikipedia includes the following information about the castle:

The Castle was used as a centre of Norman administration for the Lordship of Meath, one of the new administrative areas of Ireland created by King Henry II of England. Hugh de Lacy took possession of it in 1172. De Lacy built a huge ringwork castle defended by a stout double palisade and external ditch on top of the hill.
